Tile Music: Sound Art of Fragments and Resonance

'Tile Music' is a sound art piece composed of five music NFT tracks.
Alone, each NFT sounds like an abstract sonic fragment, but when five owners gather in one space and fulfill the rule of pressing play on their smartphones in unison, the sounds converge into a single, complete musical work.
As owners move, the spatial audio shifts, with the acoustic balance evolving in real-time—sounds tiling together into a dynamic harmony.

Inspired by 'QR Music,' unveiled at the 2019 Makassar Biennale, where visitors freely played the sounds of Makassar’s streets and nature to capture the city’s essence, 'Tile Music' takes a different path.
It imposes a responsibility on NFT ownership—gathering and syncing—that transforms scattered fragments into a unified whole through the collectors’ commitment.
Typically, owners dominate their domain, but here, possession binds them to rules, and that burden births new music.
Crossing the boundary between digital and physical, this experience redefines the power of connection.
